The Mazda MX-5 was born in 1989.

 

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the ND MX-5, its 4th-generation model.To commemorate this milestone, we will hold a commemorative lecture about the ND MX-5.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the current Mazda MX-5 model.

 

What aspirations and processes gave birth to its captivating design, which continues to be cherished by so many? This event clearly explains the process of bringing a car's design to life, featuring rare photos from the development era. Experience firsthand the “aspirations” held by the development team and the behind-the-scenes stories of their collaborative challenges.

Museum Guided Tour

Experience Mazda's 100-year history through a 60-minute tour.

 

We'll introduce the challenges and technological innovations from our founding to the present day, featuring actual exhibits and expert commentary. Discover our commitment to craftsmanship and Mazda's unique “story of relentless challenge” on this tour.

※If you selected “I do not wish to apply for a guided tour” during the online reservation process, you are still welcome to participate on the day of the event regardless of your prior application status.

  • The Mazda Museum Saturday Special Opening for January 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, January 10. The event will be the “35th Anniversary Event for the 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD) (tentative title)”. Reservations will open on Monday, December 1 at 9:00 AM. 
  • The Mazda Museum Saturday Special Opening for February 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, February 7. The event is titled “~The Path from Virtual to Real~ The World of eSPORTS as Pursued by MAZDA SPIRIT RACING (tentative title)”. Reservations will open on Thursday, January 1 at 9:00 AM.
