Mazda's Material Recycling Experience: Transforming Automotive Plastic Waste into New Materials

This hands-on experience showcases Mazda's commitment to sustainability by repurposing waste plastics, such as used bumpers generated during the car manufacturing process, into valuable materials. Participants will utilize the same injection molding technology employed in actual automotive parts production to create a one-of-a-kind miniature MX-5.

By feeding the shredded waste plastic into an injection molding machine, attendees can experience the molding process firsthand. Mazda continues to cherish the harmony between a love for driving and a love for the Earth. Learn more about our environmental initiatives here.
