Outline of vehicles to transport Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms

1. The cars are designed to reduce the risk of front row occupants contracting the virus while enabling them to check on occupants in the rear of the vehicle.

・A partition wall with a large window is installed between the front and second row seats.

・In-vehicle air-conditioners and extra rear ventilation systems create a difference in air pressure between the front and rear row seats, restricting the flow of air from the rear to the front row.

2. Particular consideration was given for ease of maintenance after the use of the vehicle

・The use of rubber for the floor mats under each seat makes disinfection and/or cleaning easier.

・Replaceable plastic seat covers alleviate disinfection or other cleaning work needed after the use of the vehicle.

3. Optional equipment for use with greater peace of mind

・Interphone system to help occupants in the front and rear seats communicate stressfree and smoothly over the partition wall.

・Differential pressure gauge for front row occupants to confirm the air pressure difference between the front and rear seats
