CHAMPIONSHIPS
The FIA Gran Turismo Championships started in 2018 as a new digital motorsport category created by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and “Gran Turismo”.

Through the sports mode of “Gran Turismo SPORT”, players all over the world pit their driving skills against each other, with the best players competing in a world tour that paves the way towards participating in the World Final event.

The player that takes victory at the world final is crowned world champion and is invited to attend the "FIA Prize Giving Ceremony" at the end of the year where they are officially recognized alongside real world motorsport champions.
