The 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (4W-ABS) applies the optimal amount of brake force to each of the four wheels.

When the driver brakes hard or brakes on a road surface made slippery by snow or some other factor,
4W-ABS helps avoid slips by automatically pumping the brakes while the driver keeps constant pressure on the brake pedal. Furthermore, because the system better avoids tire lock-up, it enables drivers to steer around obstacles more easily.

* ABS is designed to reduce the risk of accidents by applying the optimal amount of brake force to each of the four wheels. However the system has its limitations, and no safety system or combination of such systems can prevent all accidents. These systems are not a replacement for safe and attentive driving. Please drive carefully at all times and do not rely on technology to prevent an accident.
