Donating Vehicles for Every Stadium Attendance Milestone

Donating Vehicles for Every Stadium Attendance Milestone

Mazda donates one vehicle to a social welfare organization for every one million visitors to the Hiroshima Municipal Baseball Stadium, for which Mazda has acquired naming rights (now known as MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima).
In FY2020, the cumulative number of visitors reached 21 million on November 3. Accordingly, Mazda donated one vehicle to an organization in Hiroshima City.
At the recipient welfare organization, the vehicle is being used to transport welfare facility users when they go out or visit the hospital.
Following COVID-19 precautions, the presentation ceremony was held at the facilities of the welfare organization rather than at the stadium after taking various measures to prevent infection. In efforts to liven up the ceremony, members of the welfare organization created golden a key, a model of the stadium, and masks of popular baseball players in the course of their daily activities. Hiroshima Toyo Carp players also sent a congratulatory video message.
