[Japan] Mazda Motor Corporation, dealerships

At Mazda domestic dealerships*1, we ask customers who purchase cars*2 and customers who receive maintenance and inspections*2 to participate in a "Please Tell Us Your Opinion" online questionnaire*3 regarding the support and services provided at dealerships.

For every response we receive during the questionnaire period, Mazda donates 50 yen to support public interest groups that engage in various activities to support people in the community.
In FY2021, we provided donations to the Akai Hane Central Community Chest of Japan's Relief Volunteer & NPO Support Fund as well as its Nationwide Support Campaign to Support Welfare Activities During COVID-19.

Nationwide Campaign to Support Welfare Activities During COVID-19

Adopting as its slogan "Supporting activities supporting those in need," the Akai Hane Nationwide Campaign to Support Welfare Activities During COVID-19 has been operating food banks and providing food, clothing and shelter to people experiencing economic difficulties and other serious issues that are directly related to their survival. As of 2021, the Akai Hane Central Community Chest of Japan provided food support to more than 880,000 people and shelter for more than 110,000 people.

 

The Disaster Relief Volunteer & NPO Support Fund (VolSup)

The Disaster Relief Volunteer & NPO Support Fund (VolSup)

The Disaster Relief Volunteer & NPO Support Fund (VolSup), established by the Akai Hane Central Community Chest of Japan in 2011, raises funds to support disaster relief volunteers and NPOs. By the end of May 2021, the fund had provided approximately 15,000 grants of over 5.8 billion yen.

Support Through "Mazda Collection" Sales

Support Through "Mazda Collection" Sales

The "Mazda Collection"*14 was launched in June 2020 to offer customers official Mazda goods that allow them to enjoy Mazda's world view in various situations in their everyday life.
In 2020, Mazda also celebrated its 100th anniversary. To commemorate this occasion, a portion of 2020 sales proceeds from the Mazda Collection was donated to the Akai Hane Nationwide Campaign to Support Welfare Activities During COVID-19, which Mazda has been supporting, through the "Please tell us Your Opinion" Questionnaire in July 2021. (Target period: June 2020 - March 2021).
