1. Domestic Production
The domestic production volume for July 2008 increased 29.6% compared to July 2008, due to increased production of the Mazda3 (known as the Axela in Japan), Mazda2 (Demio), Mazda6 (Atenza) and other models.

The domestic sales volume for July 2008 rose 10.7% over July 2007 due to the sales launch of the Mazda Biante, and healthy sales of the Mazda5 (Premacy) and the Mazda6 (Atenza).
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 6.3% (up 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 3.2% share (up 0.5 points year-on-year) of the micro-mini segment and a 5.3% total market share (up 0.4 points year-on-year).
