(1) Domestic Production
1. Domestic Production increased from the prior year for the second consecutive month since March 2005.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same month last year: Mazda5, up 235.0%, Bongo Truck, up 98.0%, Mazda3, up 14.4%, Mazda2, up 10.8%, Mazda6, up 8.8%
New model: Verisa (2,170 units)
3. Holiday operations: Three days (April 2, 9, 16) at Ujina Plant No.1 and No.2, two days (April 9, 23) at Hofu Plant No.1 and No.2

(2) Domestic Sales
1. Domestic Sales increased from the prior year for the second consecutive month since March 2005.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same month last year: Premacy, up 424.4%, Bongo Truck, up 103.7%, Bongo Brawny Van, up 93.5%
New model: Verisa (1,408 units)
3. Market share increased over the same month last year.
- Registration: 5.6%, up 0.1 points
(increased for the second consecutive month since April 2005)
- Total: 4.5%, up 0.2 points
(increased for the second consecutive month since April 2005)

(3) Exports
1. Exports increased from a year earlier for the first time in four months since December 2004.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same month last year: Mazda5, up 222.9%, Mazda6 up 39.6%, Mazda3 up 30.5%
3. Destinations that showed an increase over the same month last year: Asia, up 87.7%, the Middle East, up 70.9%, Europe, up 39.7%, Central and South America, up 36.2%, Oceania, up 22.6%, Africa, up 1.5%
