(1) Domestic Production
1. Domestic production increased from a year earlier for the first time in four months since November 2004.
2. Models that showed increases over the same month last year: Premacy, up 211.5%, Bongo Truck, up 36.7%, Mazda3, up 35.1%
New model: Verisa (3,355 units)
3. Holiday operations: Three days (March 5, 12, 19) at Hiroshima Plant No.1 and No.2, three days (March 5, 12, 19) at Hofu Plant No.1 and No.2

(2) Domestic Sales
1. Domestic sales increased from a year earlier for the first time in three months since December 2004.
2. Models that showed increases over the same month last year: Premacy, up 445.0%, Carol, up 240.2%, RX-8, up 56.8%, Bongo Truck, up 43.1%, MPV, up 7.8%
New model: Verisa (3,133 units)
3. Market share increased over the same period last year.
-Registration: 6.3%, up 1.0 points
(increased for the first time in five months since October 2004)
-Micro-minis: 2.7%, up 0.3 points
(increased for the twelfth consecutive month since April 2004)
-Total: 5.2%, up 0.8 points
(increased for the first time in five months since October 2004)

(3) Exports
1. Models that showed increases over the same month last year: Premacy, up 40.4%, Mazda3, up 26.3%, Mazda6, up 8.8%
2. Destinations that showed increases over the same month last year: Europe, up 17.7%, Central and South America, up 10.8%
