(1) Domestic Production
1. Domestic production increased for the third consecutive period since 2002, compared to the same period of the previous year.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same period last year: Mazda3, up 266.1%, E-Series (Bongo Brawny) Truck, up 131.2%, E-Series (Bongo) Truck, up 11.0%
New model: Verisa (14,384 units)

(2) Domestic Sales
1. Domestic sales increased for the second consecutive period since 2003, compared to the same period of the previous year.
  2. Models that showed an increase over the same period last year: Axela, up 441.8%, Carol, up 64.9%, Tribute, up 64.5%, AZ-Wagon, up 35.4%, Bongo Truck, up 12.5%, Roadster, up 8.3%, Laputa, up 7.3%, Scrum, up 5.2%,
New model: Verisa (12,810 units)
  3. Market share increased over the same period last year.
- Micro-minis: 2.7%, up 0.3 points
(increased for the first time in two years since 2002)

(3) Exports
1. Exports increased increased for the forth consecutive period since 2001, compared to the same period of the previous year.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same period last year: Mazda3, up 275.5%, Mazda2, up 82.3%, E-Series (Bongo) Truck/Van, up 10.4%
3. Destinations that showed an increase over the same period last year: Africa, up 28.1%, Central and South America, up 14.2%, Oceania, up 12.9%, North America, up 6.0%, Europe, up 5.4%

(4) Overseas Production
1. Overseas production increased for the third consecutive period since 2002, compared to the same period of the previous year.
2. Models that showed an increase over the same period last year: T-Series, up 83.6%, Mazda6, up 31.3%, Premacy, up 23.2%, B-Series, up 20.2%, Mazda 323, up 19.5%, Tribute, up 3.9%
New model: Mazda3 (8,520 units)
