Organizational and Personnel Changes

Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective August 1, 2012.
1. Organizational Change
- Changes in the area of Engineering
Aims
- To enhance mass-production preparation and manufacturing engineering support for overseas production footprints in order to accelerate the implementation of Monotsukuri Innovation globally.
- To speed up the decision making process, increase organizational efficiency and expand the scope in which employees can be successful by streamlining the organization.
- The above changes are made in order to ensure the steady implementation of Mazda's Structural Reform Plan.
- Details of the organizational changes
- The Overseas Production Engineering Dept. has been eliminated and its functions have been enhanced and integrated into the Production Planning Dept., Body Production Engineering Dept. and the Painting, Trim & Final Assembly Engineering Dept.
