Organizational and Personnel Changes

Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2011.

1. Organizational Change

Changes in the area of profit control

Goals

To ensure efficient and effective cost reduction activities by integrating product and component profit & cost target setting functions and cost development promotion functions.
To increase efficiency and ensure quick decision making through a simplified organizational structure.

Details of the organizational changes

The component profit control function of the Profit Control Div. and all functions of the Product Profit Management Dept. have been transferred to the Cost Planning Dept.
In line with the above changes, the Product Profit Management Dept. has been eliminated.
