Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective June 1, 2011.
1. Organizational Changes
Changes in the area of marketing
- Goals
- Integrate companywide market research activities to more efficiently gather information on consumer demands and trends related to Mazda's products, brand and services.
- Enable comprehensive analysis of all collected data together with Mazda's established know-how in order to provide more effective strategic and objective proposals to support corporate strategic decision making.
- Details of the organizational changes
- The Global Consumer Insight Department has been newly established in the Global Marketing Division.
- The market research function of the Global Brand Management Department has been transferred to the Global Consumer Insight Department.
- The customer feedback data collection functions of the Product Strategy Division, Product Planning Division and China Business Division have been transferred to the Global Consumer Insight Department.
