Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective August 1, 2009.
1. Organizational Changes
(1) Changes in the areas of CSR and the environment
Goals

To enhance strategic, coordinated and inter-departmental planning functions related to CSR and environmental initiatives from a companywide, Group and global standpoint. |

To consolidate the control of information related to CSR and the environment, and ensure effective communication both internally and externally. |

The CSR & Environment Dept. has been newly established as an independent department. |
(2) Changes in the area of corporate services
Goal

To maintain and enhance ongoing efforts to ensure compliance and improve risk management. |

The CSR Promotion Dept. has been reorganized and renamed the Compliance Administration Dept. |

Some functions of the CSR Promotion Dept. have been transferred to the General Affairs Dept. |
