1. Domestic Production
The domestic production volume for August 2008 increased 5.0% compared to August 2007, mainly due to greater production of the Mazda2 (known as the Demio in Japan), Mazda6 (Atenza), and Mazda5 (Premacy).

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 7.2% (up 1.0 points year-on-year), with a 3.6% share (up 0.3 points year-on-year) of the micro-mini segment and a 5.8% total market share (up 0.6 points year-on-year).
