1. Domestic Production
The domestic production volume for November 2007 is up 12.5% over the same month last year due to increased production of the Mazda CX-7 and Mazda CX-9 and added production of the Mazda2 (known as the Demio in Japan) for the European market.

2. Overseas production
Although overseas production of the Mazda6 and Mazda3 was steady, overall overseas production volume decreased 10.8% year-on-year, mainly due to a decrease caused by the Familia and Premacy production in China being attributed to FAW Haima, which has established its own brand.

Domestic sales were up 2.3% over November 2006 due to the sales boost coming from new models such as the Mazda2 (Demio) and Mazda5 (Premacy) and steady sales of micro-mini models. Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 4.8%, down 0.5 points over the same period last year, with a 2.9% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.9 points) and a 4.2% total market share (down 0.1 points).

Exports increased over the same period last year, up 9.8% over November 2006, mainly due to an increase in exports of the steady-selling Mazda2 and increased shipments of Mazda CX-7 models bound for regions other than North America.
On a market basis, exports to Oceania and other regions (the Middle East, Central and South America) were steady.
