1. Domestic Production
Additional production of the all-new Mazda2 (Demio) bound for Europe and the CX-9, among other models, led to a 10.9% rise in total domestic production compared with October 2006.

2. Overseas production
Although production of the Mazda6, Mazda3 and other models was healthy, total overseas production in August 2007 was down 3.1% year-on-year due to the end of production of Familia and Premacy models in China.

Due to the new model effect of the Mazda2 (Demio) and Mazda5 (Premacy), domestic sales were up 5.5% year-on-year in October 2007.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.3%, up 0.1 points over October 2006, with a 2.7% percent share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.4 points) and a 4.5% total market share, which is up 0.3 points over last year’s result.
