- Mazda has developed its business by providing "Zoom-Zoom" cars that are fun to drive. In order to continue offering customers this "Zoom-Zoom" experience, we see it as our duty to make cars that also provide excellent environmental and safety performance.
In order to achieve this we have developed a set of innovative new technologies which realize an unprecedented balance between driving pleasure and environmental and safety performance. We call these SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY. Taking advantage of these technologies, Mazda is currently undertaking structural reforms that will reinforce our Framework for Medium- and Long-term Initiatives, due to be completed in the fiscal year ending March 2016. Starting with the CX-5 launched in 2012, and the all-new Mazda6 (Atenza), we are planning successive launches of next generation models featuring SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY. We are also working hard to improve our brand value.
