Mazda Motor Rus, OOO (MMR) executes various social contribution activities in Russia through its project "EN (Deep connection between people)", a free-will charity for MMR employees and Mazda fan clubs.

Support for Charity Fund

Objective

To support the charity fund for sick children (rusfond) and promote employees' participation in charity activities

Initiatives

MMR holds children's events (twice a year) and sales old written off left-over PR goods to raise funds for sick children.

In September 2012, all employees who have children (or nephews / nieces, etc.) were invited to bring their drawings of his/her own and/or children. Raised money from the entrance fee of the drawings exhibition and the sales of all the written off left-overs (t-shirts / note pads / pencils) helped six children to be operated on.

Objective

To support elderly inhabitants of Russian old people's homes

Initiatives

MMR volunteers support elderly peoples by sending birthday greeting cards on a monthly basis and other personal letters at New Year and Easter.

MMR employees, recieving the addresses from a specialized charity fund that are transparent and have visible activities (found through Facebook), signed 300 greeting cards for all those willing to get many post-cards, and then hand them over (with stamps and in sealed envelopes) to the charity fund that distributes them according to the birthday dates. They gave a total of over 500 personal letters including "New Year" cards (100 in total) and "Easter" cards (around 100) from MMR's employees to the elderly people.
