Centered on Mazda's Community Services Committee
In its social contribution activities, Mazda places a particular emphasis on the development of proactive, continuous activities tailored to local communities. This approach arises from the belief that local communities are the foundation of our Group's business. We have an important role as a responsible corporate citizen to do positive things for people in the communities where we operate, listen to issues that are of interest to them, and be active in the community.
Based on this policy, we established the Mazda Community Services Committee in 1993. This committee forms the core of Mazda's local contribution activities by planning and perfecting initiatives for the entire Group and organizing local employee leaders to implement activities which contribute to the local community.
