Mazda conducts investor relations in line with its policy to disclose information to stakeholders fairly and in a timely manner.
Solid Disclosure and Communication
Mazda holds quarterly financial results announcements visits each institutional investor in Japan and overseas or holds small meetings. We also strive to disclose information in a timely fashion through our official investor relations (IR) website, annual reports and shareholder communications. To give individual investors a better understanding of the Company, we offer corporate information sessions. In FY2007, we held information sessions in Hiroshima—where Mazda's head office is located—and Tokyo. The presentation materials are also viewable at our IR website.

Shareholder factory tour
In March 2008, we held a plant tour for all our shareholders at the Hofu Plant. Approximately 50 groups of shareholders participated, watching the new Atenza (Mazda6) and Axela (Mazda3) being assembled on a production line that uses the latest technology combined with a range of innovations. At the meeting held after the tour, participants eagerly exchanged views and praised the tour.
Openly Accessible General Shareholders Meetings
Mazda hopes to enable as many shareholders as possible to attend its annual General Shareholders Meeting, which is an excellent opportunity to learn about Mazda policies. For this reason, Mazda schedules its general shareholders meeting on a different day than the majority of other companies.
We also make a conscientious effort to answer shareholders' questions—not just to the extent required under corporate law but as fully as possible without violating corporate secrecy agreements.
