Driving noise comes from sources such as the engine, the exhaust system, the air intake system, the drive train, and the tires. Mazda's own noise standards are stricter than the latest legal requirements, and under them we are working to reduce noise from all of these sources. Our in-house noise standards apply to all Mazda vehicles, both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
